Dance has been constantly evolving, often experimented to realize and explore new depths. More than ever, the world dances today, giving birth to a new dance form, the dance of notion.This group will present a glimpse of some such notions. Choreographers: Tanu Sharma and Priya Malshe

Odissi
 
Odissi is the most graceful and lyrical dance form from the eastern state of Orissa, It is claimed to be India's earliest classical dance style. The students of Pani Dance Academy, will present Guru Vandana. Composed by Smt. Sujata Mohapatra

Hope Avenue Inc, is an organization that endeavors to create awareness among youth & promote education. They are back again this Trishna to soothe the mind and touch your soul. 
 
Classical Guitarist

The merging of an ageless classical instrument and the twenty-first century has found life in the person of guitarist Benjamin Beirs. Trained as a classical guitarist at Peabody Conservatory by Julian Gray, he has among other things performed a concerto with the Buffalo Philharmonic and appeared at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - yet he is oh-so-much more. A singer, songwriter, teacher and composer, you can find him almost anywhere from the concert stage to an elementary school, playing to a most diverse and appreciative audience.
 
Mundiya Tu Bachke
 
Spotlight Creative Studios, Raleigh's leading South East Asian Dance Studio, presents an enticing piece from punjab - An all girls bhangra mix.
 
Bombay Jukebox
 
A group formed in early 2006, comprises music enthusiasts in and around the Triangle area.
 
Aakrithi
 
A group of young professionals and students based in the Triangle area of North Carolina who are extremely enthusiastic about dancing. They  choreograph and perform dances with hints of Indian culture
 
Taiko
 
Triangle Taiko founded in 2002, are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the exploration and performance of Taiko, Japanese traditional drum music and hope to promote Japanese-American cultural exchange through Taiko. 
 
Fusion

Fusion is a hip hop and cultural dance team at NC State whose focus is to promote unity through diversity and to fuse together a mixture of cultural styles with today's hip hop movement. This performance will consist of a compilation of various routines, each one having a unique style and approach.
 
"Evolution" by HoopDrum
 
HoopDrum is a performance duet that will dazzle your senses & soothe your soul. With a variety of hoops, instruments, fabric and dynamic effects, Percussionist, Scott Crews, and Hoop Dancer, Julia Hartsell present their piece “Evolution”.They hope to inspire the audience to open their minds and hearts to the realm of limitless possibilities.
